July is peak season for Lake George, so no matter where you plan on staying, we recommend booking your accommodations early on. Please keep in mind that many places will not start taking reservations for 2027 until the fall or January 1, 2027. The Sagamore is currently accepting reservations.

Things to Do
Located in the Adirondacks, Lake George is sometimes referred to as the “Queen of American Lakes.” Enjoy recreating on the lake’s crystal clear waters or exploring its mountainous shorelines. We hope that you’ll enjoy our wedding weekend the way we like to, spending time with friends and family by the water.
On the Water
Explore the lake, and its many islands, by kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board (Brooklyn and Will’s favorite)!
Rental options:
Lake George Kayak Company: located on the same island as The Sagamore.
Kayak Lake George: located in Lake George Village, 15-20 minutes from Bolton Landing.
A great way to see more of Lake George is by cruise. Guests at The Sagamore can take a complimentary tour of the lake on The Morgan. Not staying at The Sagamore? Lake George Waterfront Cruises offers one hour historic sightseeing cruises, happy hour cruises, and sunset cruises. The Lake George Steamboat Company offers a one hour paddlewheel cruise aboard their Sternwheel Steamboat. Both are located in Lake George Village.
Public Beaches: There are two public beaches in Bolton Landing. Rogers Memorial Park Beach and Veteran’s Memorial Park Beach. There is a $5 parking fee at both beaches.
Hiking
Blue Trail to Bradley’s Lookout: 1.1 miles, great for sunrise.
The Pinnacle via Red Trail: 2.2 miles, excellent lake views.
Up Yonda Farm Full Loop: 1.4 miles, $5 parking fee. Up Yonda Farm is an environmental education center!
All hikes within 10 minutes of Bolton Landing.
Golf
The Sagamore’s 18-hole golf course was designed by Donald Ross with views of Lake George and the surrounding Adirondacks. Book a tee time here.

The Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB describes the area’s “diverse and delicious dining options,” from casual dining and craft beer to an elegant fine-dining experience.

Can I bring a plus one?
We’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation, but we’re so excited to celebrate with you!
Is there parking?
Yes, there will be complimentary parking at The Sagamore during all wedding events. Please let the welcome booth know what event you are arriving for.
What’s the best way to get around the Lake George area?
The easiest way to get around the Lake George area is by car. While rideshare services are available, there can be long waits and high prices. We recommend scheduling rides in advance through Adirondack Blue Line Taxi. There is a free shuttle service for guests of The Sagamore that runs to the golf course, club grill, and the village of Bolton Landing. The shuttle runs until 11PM.
Are kids invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The concierge team at The Sagamore is able to assist with babysitting. Please plan on reaching out to the team two months prior to our wedding, around mid-May 2027.
Are there more places to stay?
Of course! There are many resorts, motels, cabins, and rental homes available near our wedding venue. Please be mindful when booking your accommodation that just because a place is located on Lake George doesn’t mean it’s near the Sagamore. Please reach out with any questions or for more information about rental homes in the area.
